   These two poems, almost every child in the land of cathaysia can recite them, and the beautiful scenery of the two places is reflected in the poems.

    丁酉年腊月，来自敕勒川的一群少年，带着浓浓的北疆豪情，抱着求知探索的心态，经千里奔波，呼市一中国际部学子在李向京、郭健、雷霄、杜建厅、贾娇、李金龙等几位老师的带领下到苏州国际外语学校参加冬季研学。

    To purse their dream of exploring something new, several youths coming from the International Department of Hohhot No. 1 High school went far away to Suzhou International Foreign Language School to take part in the winter camp. The group were led by the following teachers--- Li Xiangjing, Guo Jian, Lei Xiao, Du Jianting, Jia Jiao and Li Jinlong.

课堂点滴，国际课程教师全情投入，国学课程学生专注体验

  During the class time, the teachers were fully devoted to teaching international courses, and the students concentrated on experiencing national cultural education as well.

    苏国外，纯英语授课，并且大部分均为外教讲授，会计、历史、科学、数学、物理、英语，外教以“歪果仁”区别于国人的开放与热情和学生们迅速熟悉起来，老师不断用学生熟悉的例子去解释一个个生僻专业的单词的时候，用一个个实验让学生手脑并用思考，课前担心自己听不懂的焦虑渐渐淡去，取而代之的是自信的微笑：“我能行！”

  At the Suzhou International Foreign Language School, all the teachers teach in pure English. Most of the teachers are native English speakers. Their courses include Account, History, Science, Maths, Physics and English. Thanks to the special enthusiasm of the foreign teachers, the youths from Huhhot and the foreigners got familiar with each other quickly. During the class, teachers used the examples which are familiar to the students to explain the professional words and phrases in their courses, making the students interested in the new knowledge. Their worry that they couldn’t understand what the teachers would teach disappeared, instead, they felt confident and we often heard ‘ I can do it’ in class.

    校内丰富多彩的国学体验课，学生们在老师的精心教导下，静如处子动如脱兔：弓箭道课程，修行外在，似奔雷，讲究攻防一体化，进退取舍，武道哲学。扇面绘画，修行内在，似止水，心静方能手稳，专注于心中的花方能花开扇面。

  They also offered us some wonderful studies of Chinese ancient civilization. Huhhot youths enjoyed themselves during the drawing class and the bow and arrow shooting class.

    留学知识讲座，苏国外领导为了让我们在短短5天游学生活中更高效的了解出国留学，还特地安排了专门负责和国外学校接洽相关工作的教师做讲座，以求在最短时间内把信息最准确最大量的投放给我们的学子。

  In order to make us know more about studying abroad, Suzhou International Foreign Language School arranged several lectures about studying abroad for us. They hoped to supply the largest amount of exact information to us in 5 days.

游学天地之间，领人文之精华

  We studied in and out of the classroom and learnt the essence of humanity.

    名扬国内外的苏州园林代表——拙政园，此处“绝怜人境无车马，信有山林在市城”，游览江南风情古街代表——山塘街、平江路，恰逢江南飘雪，江南雪，轻素剪云端。

  We also visited the Humble Administrator’s Garden, which stands for the Gardens of Suzhou. We also paid a visit to Shantang Street and Pingjiang Road.Those unforgettable memories were shared by everyone, and became the warmest sunshine in this snowy winter.

    欢歌笑语，尽情的才艺展示，两校师生同欢乐，呼一中带来厚重的草原礼节——哈达，诚挚要求苏国外友人做客祖国北疆，苏国外校长为每一位全情投入的一中学子颁发毕业证，并为优秀营员颁奖，每一位学子脸上洋溢着幸福笑容，每一位老师都为学生的进步感到欢欣鼓舞。

      Students from both schools got together for a great show. All of the teachers and students enjoyed the show very much. Teachers from Huhhot. No.1 high school presented the most valuable gift --- HaDa to the teachers of Suzhou Foreign Language School to invite them to visit Inner Mongolia. After that, the school leaders of Suzhou Foreign Language School awarded the certificates of honor to all the Hohhot youths as well as the outstanding ones. Every student smiled happily, and the teachers were inspired by the progress made by their students.

The epilogue

    姑苏古城，5天的游学生活，让一中学子领略了作为一个有大国情怀有世界眼光的高中生应面对的机遇和挑战，也留下了深深的思考。

  The five days’ learning in Suzhou left the students who paid a visit something. In order to become a high school students with international view, they have to face a lot of opportunities as well as challenges.

      老师们对每一位游学学子寄以深深的期待，如国际部李向京主任所言：“希望同学们与世界同行，共中国崛起，成为有国际视野、中国灵魂的未来人。”

 All the teachers expect our students to be excellent. As the Director of Huhhot No.1 high school, Li xiangjing, said ‘I hope all of the students can keep pace with the world as well as China; Hope you can be the ones with international horizon and Chinese spirit!’
